Musika Green Zone

Musika is a Zambian non-profit company that works to stimulate and support private sector investment in the smallholder market. Musika works with all stakeholders in the agricultural market system, with an emphasis on private sector entities that are committed to working with the rural poor as their clients, suppliers and consumers.

Musika brought together key players in the Environment Market, and suppliers of low-cost Post-harvest solutions for small and emergent farmers under the ‘Musika Green Zone’. The workshops were about technologies and practices that will help farmers to develop a ‘green farm’ by sustainably utilising our natural resources, as well as affordable storage solutions to reduce the impact of post-harvest losses and improve household incomes, nutrition and food security. Musika also hosted Presentations and Roundtables to discuss opportunities available for smallholders and to gain a better understanding of the needs of the smallholder sector.
